The Reds

Singer / songwriter Johnny Mac returns to the Max catalog - with band in tow - for the jaunty & memorable Economy Of Motion. Graham Cobb and Jason Thompson round out the trio on guitar and drums respectively. Formed in the Summer of 2005, The Reds quickly evolved from a one-off tribute to a fully functioning, if not frequently playing, band. Their not-so-secret formula revolves around the now half-century old mix of drums, guitar, bass, voice - and not much else. They work a beautiful pop niche
that other players would quite thankfully be happy to fall into, as Mac sings his way through weird tales of lustful summers, expensive drinks, and prolific rockstars.
